Jan - work, work work

Work never ends but there's always this hope of trying to get ahead of the schedule only to realise there's always more work - this is telling you something you already know right??
Mom asked me the other day whether I was free somewhr around the 2nd week of March- to hangout. She was just trying to sound cool. I totally forgot its gonna be my birthday soon and my parents want to take me out. So not only am I a complete idiot when it comes to remembering other people's birthdays, I now have forgotten my own.
Its a balancing act: work, friends and church.
Then there's the procrastination. Tmrw still got time, what. Its a Friday - no one works on a Fri. Its a Saturday - there's still Sunday to catch up. Come out for dinner.. we can eat quickly and come back to work - yeah right!
Buy a birthday present for someone - or whatever else unnecessary comes to mind, when there's work to be done. Bottomline: pure laziness.
Bought a Netbook this month to cope with working late nights - at least I get to bring the work home. Just realised a Netbook comes without a CD kit - HAHA.. so it was really unnecessary to buy an external stereo. But I've a 16Gb thumbdrive to compensate.
